Colonial Beach Designated as a Virginia Main Street Community!

We are thrilled to announce that Colonial Beach has officially been designated as a Virginia Main Street Community! This exciting achievement was confirmed by Governor Glenn Youngkin on December 23, 2024, marking the culmination of two years of dedication and hard work by Downtown Colonial Beach (DCB), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This is a monumental step forward for Colonial Beach, Westmoreland County and the entire Northern Neck region, ensuring a brighter future for residents and visitors alike. Celebrate your love of chocolate and wine at the “For the Love of Chocolate and Wine” event! Join Eric Nelson as he guides you through the decadent art of pairing these two indulgent favorites. Just in time for the holidays, this elegant evening offers the perfect way to treat yourself—or someone special—to a memorable experience. Whether it’s a romantic date night, a fun evening with friends, or the perfect gift for the chocolate or wine enthusiast in your life, this event promises to delight every sense and warm every heart. $45 per person or $80 per couple includes all chocolate and wine tastings!

Time to put the Glow, Glow, Glow in the Ho, Ho, Ho!

Join us as we "Light Up the Night" in Colonial Beach this holiday season, Downtown Colonial Beach, underwritten by the Colonial Beach Community Foundation, is offering luminarias to businesses in our Main Street District.

We're also encouraging our businesses to use warm-toned twinkling white lights to decorate and create a beautiful illumination throughout the Town!

Over the next few weeks, we'll be working with the Town Hill volunteers and Town's Public Works department to make our holiday decorations special!
